Members of the PACE Division consist of educators, administrators, and professionals involved in private and public postsecondary settings to include technical schools, community colleges, universities, career centers, correctional institutions, and industry in both formal and informal CTE/adult education programs. Our collective goals is to promote quality career and technical training that improves the economic success of those we serve.

These professionals bring to the table a wide array of approaches to preparing individuals for employment. Through many networking opportunities, members and their agencies and institutions can gain an informed, focused perspective on the rapidly changing job market and learn new ways to equip clients and students with in-demand job market skills.

The Postsecondary, Adult and Career Education was called the Adult Workforce Development Division until March 2011, when the Board of Directors voted to change the name to better reflect the makeup of the Division’s membership. Prior to that, the Division was known as the Employment and Training Division until December 1999, when the name was changed with the approval of ACTE’s Assembly of Delegates.
