Centennial Merch Design Contest

Calling All Students
Submit Your Artwork for ACTE’s Centennial Celebration!

Career and technical educators, do you want to see your students’ designs featured on ACTE’s official 100th anniversary merchandise? Encourage your students to enter our design contest and be a part of this historic celebration in 2026! This contest is open to all students enrolled in primary, secondary and postsecondary institutions. The winning design will be placed on a t-shirt and other centennial celebration merch.

Contest Details and Submission Requirements

  • Include the ACTE Centennial Celebration logo — here are PNG and JPG versions.
    • Your design can appear in full color. Below is the breakdown of colors used in our logo:

      Dark Blue
      C=90 M=70 Y=0 K=0
      Light Blue C=77 M=26 Y=0 K=0
      Green C=100 M=5 Y=50 K=29
      Purple C=79 M=100 Y=0 K=15
  • Since this design is celebrating our organization’s 100-year anniversary, we recommend creatively showcasing career and technical education (CTE) and possibly the careers and students that are supported by CTE. Students are welcome to be as creative as possible! As mentioned, the design should incorporate the ACTE Centennial Celebration logo. We suggest using a t-shirt or a playbill as a design template, seamlessly integrating the logo, whether placed in a corner or woven into the overall design.
    • Note: Our centennial celebration will be held at our annual flagship conference, ACTE’s CareerTech VISION 2026, taking place Dec. 2-5 in New Orleans. We encourage incorporating New Orleans-inspired themes and colors into the design. Additionally, centennial merchandise will be available for purchase starting at our 2025 conference, happening Dec. 9-12 in Nashville.
  • The design must be your own original, unpublished work. By entering this contest, you agree that your submission is your own and ACTE has exclusive rights to use your design.
  • Only one design submission per student
  • Please email your design as a JPG or PDF file (8.5 x 11 inches) and include your name in the filename (e.g., Jane Johnson_png) to Julia Kendrick at jkendrick@acteonline.org by May 1 with subject line: ACTE Centennial Merch Contest. If selected as the winner, please be prepared to submit an EPS and AI or PSD files.

The winning designer will receive:

  • A $250 award and a t-shirt featuring your winning design
  • Accolades on the ACTE website and social media platforms
