ACTE's National Leadership Forum was organized to identify strategies for boosting the success of CTE students in both secondary and postsecondary environments, and to find ways to take these strategies to scale through both programmatic and policy initiatives. Leaders from business and industry, high-level staff from the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Labor, and key legislators were present to discuss the challenges facing the U.S. workforce and identify what policy changes are needed to help address these issues.
The results of these discussions are included in this document, which outlines both short- and long-term recommendations. Watch key video clips from the presentations and discussions below.
ACTE and its partners will continue to build on these discussions and recommendations while they continue discussions with key stakeholders at both the state and national levels.
