Career and technical education (CTE) has a long history that dates back to the beginning of our nation's birth. In 1976, the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) put together an issue of its magazine that looked at 200 years of CTE. In addition, in 2001, ACTE celebrated its 75th anniversary. Together, these two resources give you a good overview of CTE and how it has changed over time.
